Articles are stored in databases that are accessible to all Leeward students, staff, and faculty. Book records are found using the Primo OneSearch tool. Read below to learn more about accessing print and digital articles & books at Leeward Library.
A database is any collection of information, or data, that is organized in a way that makes it easy to find and retrieve the information quickly usually by computer. Leeward Library provides a variety of databases which you can use to locate information in the form of facts, statistics, books, magazine articles, etc. You may access these databases on campus or off-campus (to Leeward CC students, faculty, and staff only) 24 hours a day and seven days a week!

Covering virtually every subject area of general interest, MasterFILE Complete also contains full text for more than 1,000 reference books and over 164,400 primary source documents, as well as an Image Collection of over 502,000 photos, maps & flags.

Intra-System Loans: Requesting books from other UH campuses
Leeward CC students, staff, & faculty have access to books in all 10 UH Libraries! This service is called Intra-System Loan, or ISL. Books requested through this service will be delivered to the Library's Circulation Desk. You will receive an email when your requested book is ready for pick up.
Credo Reference databases is a collection of over 700 authoritative reference books can be accessed from the Leeward Library home page. Use Credo Reference for a definition or topic overview as you start your research.
