Citing images

Citing any images you use is very important. You must include the title, the creator and the source of all the images you use. When using online images include the date of access and the permanent link to the image.

Ask your class instructor for the style required for the course you are taking and consult our Citing Sources guide to learn how to properly cite an image using the citation style appropriate for your course. You may also go directly to our library's list of links to online citation guides for reference.
