Create a Print Account

Add Value Station (AVS)

1. Scan your student ID card's barcode at the Add Value Station.
2. Press "YES" to create a new print account.
3. Enter a 4-digit PIN number.
3. Add money to your account.
4. Click DONE.
5. Click LOG OUT.

 

  • If you don't have a student ID card or aren't a student, guest print cards are available for purchase at the Add Value Station for $1.00. It includes 50¢ credit in the print account.
  • The Add Value Station will only accept bills and coins, no pennies.
  • The library will not refund unused funds from print accounts. 
  • Print jobs sent from library computers are available in the printing system for two hours.  Print jobs uploaded through MobilePrint are available for 24 hours.

**Your print account allows you to print at the Waiʻanae Moku Education Center.

Printing from a Library Computer

  1. At a library laptop or desktop computer, print using the normal print command.
  2. Choose your printer:
    • Pearl City B&W Printer
    • Pearl City Color Printer
  3. Click the Print button. A pop-up window will appear and ask for your student ID number. Be sure to include the dash if that's how it's printed on your card.
  4. You will also have to give a name for the print job. Enter something that helps you remember what you printed.
  5. Go to the release station, scan your ID card and enter your 4-digit PIN. You will see a list of your print jobs and can print the desired documents.

MobilePrint: Printing from a Laptop or Other Non-Library Computer

On-campus, only. Must have a print account and be connect to LEE network/WIFI.

  1. On your mobile device, go to print.leeward.hawaii.edu
  2. Log in to your print account. 
  3. Upload your files. Accepts Microsoft Word®, Excel ®, PowerPoint®, PDF, images, text (CSV, RTF, TXT), Visio®. 
  4. Set your print options (color, sides, page ranges, pages per side, copies).
  5. Select a printer: Library - Pearl City.
  6. Click Print.

Print job will automatically be released from the printer, funds will automatically be deducted from your account. 

Scanning

Learning Commons (Main Level):

  • The KIC Click Mini high-speed book and document scanning station allows you to save a scanned image to a USB drive or your mobile device, send it by e-mail, or upload it to cloud storage. Books are scanned face-up under an overhead scanner, and multi-page documents can be fed through an automatic document feeder (ADF).
  • The KIC Bookeye 5 V2 high-speed book and document scanning station allows you to save a scanned image to a USB drive or your mobile device, send it by e-mail, or upload it to cloud storage. Books can be scanned in a V-shaped cradle or flat under an overhead scanner, and multi-page documents can be fed through an automatic document feeder (ADF).
  • Scan to USB at the Xerox 5325 WorkCentre which is across from the KIC Click Mini. USB thumbdrives cannot exceed 16 GB.
  • An ADF scanner is attached to our Quick Print Station/Computer Workstation #1.

Photocopying

Learning Commons (Main Level):  The Xerox 5325 WorkCentre is located near the AVS print kiosk and the group study rooms. Black and white copies only. Our photocopier accepts coins (no pennies) and bills up to $20.00.
