Books are a great source for historical, comprehensive, and detailed information. They can help you develop a fundamental understanding of a topic.

Notice: Most print books are unavailable due to a renovation project. Unavailable books will not show up in a catalog search. E-books collections are available.

Fiction and nonfiction e-books for all ages, for research and recreational reading.
Gale eBooks
Dozens of reference books.
HathiTrust
A digital archive of collections from major research libraries. For the most complete access, click on the yellow LOG IN button near the top right corner of the page and select University of Hawaiʻi as your partner institution.
JSTOR
A digital library of academic content in many formats and disciplines.
OverDrive

Ulukau: The Hawaiian Electronic Library

Primo searches don't include the Ulukau collection, or Kanopy or Swank videos.
